I had to do a repot on this book... and i needed 5 main events in Mockingjay. Here is what i have so far:
1) When Katniss returns to the recently bombed District 12 and find a white rose as a sign from President Snow-- I'm out to get you and i want revenge.
2) Katniss becomes the Mockingjay against her will
3) Peeta's been brainwashed into thinking Katniss is her enemy, and he needs to kill her

∙ 11y agothe plot in mocking jay is that katness and gale are in district 13. peeta is somewhere in the capitol. katness is mocking jay of freedom from the capitol. so they have to save peeta and win freedom. this book tells how katness ends up marrying.

I think because in the series, the mockingjay is known as a sign of rebellion towards the Capitol, and the last book, which is Mockingjay, at the ending, there is a stop to the Capitol ruling. I think the last book is called Mockingjay because it shows the importance of the symbol in the book.
