I listened to this many times as a child. As far as I recall the title was The Lst of the Texax Rangers.

I CAN RECALL ACCURATELY ONE VERSE AND THE CHORUS AS FOLLOWS

Chorus

I'M the last of the texax Rangers

I ride the prairie all alone

I'm the last of the Texas Rangers

My buddies have all gone home

The Last Verse

With Rangers Pete and Lefty I sought that killer down

I found him in a dancehall inan outlaw border town

He shot old Pete and Lefty in the back and tried to run

But that Killer kid and his six pals I shot down one by one

Knew this song back when I was about 13...in UK....can remember first and last and chorus

Was on a Sunday morning back in my old home town

A band of rustling cowboys (cowpokes/outlaws?) they shot my old man down

The guy that did that killing they called the Trigger Kid

I vowed that I would get him if it was the last thing that I did

chorus

I'm the last of the Texas Rangers I ride the prairie all alone

I'm the last of the Texas Rangers my buddies have all gone home

chorus

With Rangers Pete and Lefty we tracked that killer down

We found him in a dance hall in an outlaw border town

He shot old Pete and Lefty in the back and tried to run

The Trigger Kid and his six men I cut down one by one..

That's all I can recall

What are the different sections in a pop song?

bass, guitar, or drums alone for a couple seconds in the beginning and then verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus. That's the basic structure but a lot of songs don't follow that (example: walking contradiction by green day, amazing song, it goes verse, verse, chorus, same verse as first one, chorus chorus).

Why does the cheese stand alone in the Farmer in the Dell?

It is a game. Players form a circle holding hands around someone who is chosen to be the farmer. The first verse is sung whilst people circle the farmer. When the verse stops the farmer makes a choice for a wife, The wife joins the farmer in the centre and makes her choice after circling and stopping at the end of the next verse...and so on until either the cheese or dog is selected or only one person is left to become the last character. If the cheese is the last character in the circle, the cheese then stands alone

What is the difference between a line and a verse in a poem?

Verse has two meanings when one applies it to a poem. A single line can be called a verse. When we talk about blank verse, each line of the poem is a verse. (Verse comes from a Latin word meaning 'to turn a corner': in poetry the lines turn a corner each time they end and you begin with a fresh capital letter). But a verse can also mean a 'stanza': a group of lines held together with a rime. O what can ail thee Knight at arms Alone and palely loitering? The sedge is withered from the lake And no birds sing. The rimes here bind four lines together into a verse of four lines (a quatrain). Because of this ambiguity, most poets (and the best critics) say 'stanza' when they mean 'group of lines' and 'line' when they mean 'single line'.
