∙ 10y agoCould you possibly be thinking of the artist Corinne Bailey Rae who was featured on Oprah's show "What's Playing on your iPod"? According the Oprah web site, the young, British artist was a guest on this program along with Carly Simon and Mary J. Blige (original air date was January 16, 2007). Her first album is called "Corinne Bailey Rae". Hope this helps!
