Two of the most well known would be Christmas and Easter. On Christmas we celebrate and praise God for the birth of the Lord and Saviour of all mankind, Jesus Christ. On Easter, we remember the precious blood that was shed for the sin of all mankind on Calverys cross, and praise God for the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and His victory over death and hell.

I don't know of all cultures, but I do know of Hinduism. The main festivals that Hindu Indians celebrate are New Year, Holi (the festival of colors), Teej, Dushehra, Chhat (in Bihar), Ganesh Chaturthi, Karva Chhauth, Janmashtmi, and Diwali, the festival of lights.

I would say Christmas which is technically a festival. This is the day that Jesus, God's son, was born. Christianity revolves around the fact that Jesus was born to die on the cross and he rose again on the 3rd day showing the world that death has no power. Hope this helps!!

Jesus only practiced Jewish religious festivals. Here is a list of Jewish holidays that would have been around in his time (Hanukkah and Purim both may have existed in his time, but there were no written records of these observances yet):

1 Rosh Hashanah - The Jewish New Year

2 Aseret Yemei Teshuva - Ten Days of Repentance

3 Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement

4 Sukkot - Feast of Booths (or Tabernacles)

5 Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah

6 (MAYBE) Hanukkah - Festival of Lights

9 (MAYBE) Purim - Festival of Lots

10 Pesach - Passover

11 Sefirah - Counting of the Omer

13 Shavuot - Feast of Weeks - Yom HaBikurim

17 Rosh Chodesh - the New Month

18 Shabbat - The Sabbath

What is Syed called in Spain?

"Syed" is a Muslim given name. It is derived from the Muslim title "Sayyid". In Spain the persons name would still be spelled and pronounced the same way. Another way to describe a given name is to call it a "Christian" name. Christian names are generally associated with specific Christian Saints. So St. James in English is San Diego in Spanish for example. Syed is a given name, but not a Christian name, so there is no equivalent in Spanish
