To unlock the V-Chip on a television, a person will need to use the remote control. If there is a menu button on the television, this could be used to access the V-Chip. Push the Menu button, then navigate to parental controls using the up or down volume buttons.
See if your TV has a menu button. If it does, hit that, then go to screen options, or captioning options. You would probably use the channel up/down to navigate. you will eventually find the caption off/on/on when muted option. If there is no menu button, you may need to get another remote or a universal remote.
Such codes are generated by the universal remote manufacturer rather than the TV manufacturer. As such, the actual codes will differ from one remote to another. Regretfully, Olevia TV's (for the most part) use proprietary infrared frequencies. This means that the code for another TV brand will not work with Olevia TV's. If you are looking for a universal remote, Olevia made a learning remote (model RC-LRN). Amergence Technology Inc. sells them for 39.99. They can be reached at 866-965-3842.
Corduroy's button fell in the storm drain but they did get the button out of the storm drain and they did put the button back on Corduroy The Bear's overalls.
The Menu button is in the upper left hand corner of the remote below the SAT button. There is also a Menu button on most of our receivers. Thanks.
The button just above green square on the bottom of remote.
If you have a PS3 BD Remote or Media / Blu-ray Disc™ Remote Control the code for a Quantum View TV is the same as Samsung codes Samsung Codes: 301,302,303,304 To program the remote you need to hold down the TV button (second from the top on the right edge) and then press the "Clear" button (below the "7" button). When the "TV" button flashes, you need to press the buttons for a 3-digit code for your TV manufacturer from the manual, and then press the enter button (center of the remote, inside the ring).
For the SE241TS I used the LG TV in the "Most Popular" list and the on, off, volume, mute worked. For the "Source" button I used the "Learned" function on the remote using the Input-Pair button, the Page Up and Page Down, and the Select buttons. Using the Seiki choice in the alpha list did not work for me.
To program a One for All remote to be used on a Symphonic television, turn on the television manually. Then, hold down the television button on the remote, and push the power button until the television shuts off.
Oh, dude, getting that remote to work is like trying to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded. First, make sure you've got fresh batteries in there. Then, point it at the TV, press the power button, and hope for the best. If all else fails, just use the old-fashioned way and get up to change the channel.
Um... probably the power button. I mean come on everytime you wanna watch TV you gotta press it and then to turn it off you press it again.
It saves you having to walk to the television by clicking a button on the remote to change the channel or volume.
It will vary between different TV sets. There is usually an "on" button at the top of your remote. Similarly, most TVs will have a physical button on the set that you can press to switch it on.
ok so your going to want to use the lg tv remote control. after locating the remote control, find the button labeled VOL. (The VOL button is on the left side of the CH button -- the button used to change channels) To increase volume, press the top portion of the VOL button. BOOM!

The 4-digit lock code for the Mitsubishi television Model # VS-50603 will depend on what remote a person is using with the television. If the television is going to be used with a satellite television remote, contact the television service provider. If using the Mitsubishi television remote, try 9999. A person can also turn the television on, hold down the TV button on a remote and keep hitting the on/off power button until the television turns off.
