It didn't mean, except peripherally, that you would be released from the prison by the Warden! In the sense that the Warden made your life miserable, and you longed for death. depends on your perspective. if midnight is 00:00 on a clock then its one minute long. if it's 00:00:00 (seconds included) then it's one second long. to me though, midnight has no length and is the process of beginning a new calendar day, it's a transition from one day to the next, and therefore it's length should be to small to measure. hope that helps
