I think the general meaning is that even when something is gone, its memory lives on. The first verse seems pretty self-explanatory to me - when music ends, it vibrates in your memory, when violets dies, their smell lives in on the sense they aroused.
I am a bit unsure of the second verse however. I don't understand the reference to rose leaves being heaped for the beloved's bed.
If anyone can explain further I would love to hear possible meanings.

SUMMARY: The poem entitled music when soft voices die is a shorter one, yet the theme that it contain is very deep and profound. In this poem we are told that we can not for get our loved ones even though they are not longer with us. CONCLUSION: The conclusion then to draw from these lines is that the poet feels very rightly so that our loved ones are so precious and dear to us that no matter what happens we cannot forget them.
