iCarly is a tween (9 and up) show on Nickelodeon. It stars Miranda Cosgrove as the title character, a 13-year old named Carly Shay. Carly creates an Internet show, called iCarly, with her best friends, Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress). Freddie is a boy who lives across the hall from Carly at their apartment complex, and is a tech wizard. He is the "producer" of iCarly (the webshow within the TV show). Sam is a girl who Carly's best friend. She can be aggressive and annoying and appears to "hate" Freddie (and vice-versa). Carly lives with her older brother, Spencer since their parents are in the Navy stationed on a submarine. Spencer is in his early 20s and is hyper. He likes to make sculptures out of strange objects. The show chronicles the mayhem and mishaps of middle school, having a popular webshow, and just living with such a strange set of friends and family.
