Fox Film Corporation was founded by William Fox in 1915. Twentieth Century Pictures was founded by Richard D. Zanuck, Joseph Schenck, Raymond Griffith and William Goetz. The two companies merged on May 31, 1935.

Vulpes Vulpes is Latin for red fox, or if you want a name that is related to foxes, try combining Latin names from various breeds. For example, Alopex Lagopus is Arctic fox, but if you combine Alopex Lagopus and Vulpes Vulpes I find it creates a nice sounded name - Alopex Vulpes. This doesn't mean anything really if you translate it back to English, but its a nice sounding name that still basically means 'fox'.
