From the diary of a young Polish nun, a special devotion began spreading throughout the world in the 1930s. The message is nothing new, but is a reminder of what the
Church has always taught through scripture and tradition: that God is merciful and forgiving and that we, too, must show mercy and forgiveness. But in the Divine Mercy
devotion, the message takes on a powerful new focus, calling people to a deeper understanding that God's love is unlimited and available to everyone - especially the
greatest sinners. The message and devotion to Jesus as The Divine Mercy is based on the writings of Saint Faustina Kowalska, an uneducated Polish nun who, in obedience to her spiritual
director, wrote a diary of about 600 pages recording the revelations she received about God's mercy. Even before her death in 1938, the devotion to The Divine Mercy had begun to spread. For more information, visit http://www.ewtn.com/Devotionals/mercy/dmmap.htm

Divine is not boun to a particular religion or flock. Divine is all merciful means its mercy is meant for all of its creatures irrespective of their associations. Whosoever prays to divine, with a heart full of love and devotion, attracts divine grace. I personally prefer to call it Grace and not mercy. Chritianity defines GOD as supreme father meaning thereby we all are HIS sons. In our normal life also it does not look nice if a son begs for mercy before his father and such act brings shame to a father too whose son is begging before him. Father will think what kind of son he has got who begs before me. A father feels happy and proud if his son walks with straight chest and tells father honestly if he has done something wrong. A father will always forgive his son without any sense of mercy etc. I do not beleive in the mercy word. Rather one should invite grace of almighty.
Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Anyone with humanity and compassion - a divine attribute within the context of this speech
The only named archangels in the Bible are Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, Isaiah is not an archangel.
In the sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God," Jonathan Edwards portrays divine mercy as an essential element of God's character, emphasizing the opportunity for sinners to repent and seek forgiveness. Through vivid imagery and language, he underscores the idea that God's mercy spares humanity from imminent destruction, highlighting the notion that salvation is within reach for those who turn to God. Edwards' references to God's willingness to show compassion and offer redemption demonstrate his underlying belief in the capacity for divine mercy to bring about spiritual transformation and renewal.
