Splash Day is the "first day" of Texas schools Spring Break usu. mid-March and lasting 2-6 weeks (Texas schools "break" on different dates). Splash Day is the Texas beach component of Spring Break and is an enormous beach party. Make lodging arrangements at least 6 months in advance.
