I don't know exactly, but my guess is that it's either: 1. materials made together to do what it does or 2. its a new type of material. I don't know but its my guess. I just hope theirs better answers than this.
FUSHIGI IS A PATENT PENDING DESIGN AND IS THE WORLDS ONLY BALL IN A BALL CJ BALL THAT IS SAFE FOR KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE, BEWARE OF PURCHASING TOTAL CLEAR ACRYLICS BECAUSE THEY ARE LIKE MAGNIFYING GLASSES. FUSHIGI IS MADE OF CHROME AND ACRYLIC. NOT GLASS, NOT SOME MYSTERY MATERIAL, IT WONT BREAK OR SHATTER IF DROPPED,,,
IF ITS NOT A "FUSHIGI" BE VERY CAREFUL BUYER BEWARE....
^ Wrong, it's a mirror in a plastic ball.
Any round ball can be made to work like a Fushigi. A baseball, a lacrosse ball (recommended) or even an orange can be used to do all the tricks you can do with a Fushigi (and it won't be any harder to learn). (or...) A fushigi ball is a solid chrome ball surrounded by a layer of polycarbonate. Unless you have a solid chrome ball and some melted polycarbonate then you should stick to the basics. Take an old tennis ball and cut a slit in it then take a heavier ball and stick it inside. Hot glue the slit together then......viola! your own home made fushigi!

The fourth episode of the second ova, I believe.
yes, but it has some different sponsor plus the creator, Akira Toriyama, had made DBZ and wanted to end it but Ataria, a sponsor, made Toriyama do dragon ball gt, and that is why he made it short (64 episodes.) Also if you want to know Akira, Toriyama was going to make a dragon ball af or something but changed his mind because people kept asking him when dragon ball af or another title would come out and he got so angry he decided to end the dragon ball series with dragon ball gt and if you ever hear that dragon ball af is real and you can watch it its probably something that will give you a virus or a tracking cookie (especially zango, never believe in zango, it is not good and is annoying, yes you have to download it.) Dragon ball af is fan made but is pretty nice and exciting to watch such as seeing gohan super saiyan 4. !

The Fushigi ball is not a normal ball. It is a clear acrylic ball that appears to float and move on its own due to manipulation by the user's hands. It is marketed as a novelty toy for performing illusions and tricks.
Fushigi is a ball that is light weight. So with that being said fushigi is so light it floats like a feather. *new person* FUSHIGI IS NOT LIGHT except for the mini balls, if you get one and drop it you actually hear a loud THUD, Fushigi actually is an illusion, you can make it look as if it moves, when actually you move, you could actually do this with any ball, but Fushigi has no marks to tell if its moving or not. it does take a lot of practice.
