Let me put it in a easy way, we all know that soles has mid sole and outsole, mid sole is softer than outsole, because mid sole needs comfortability for feet while out sole needs anti-slip ability .A sole of combination of mid-sole and outsole with different density that is we call dual density shoe sole.

long long ago, there are no dual-density- outsole" saying, because most outsole manufacturers produced mid-sole and outsole separatly, but with the time goes by and technology upgrading we can produce mid-sole and outsole at once. So the mold would be a key point.

What does brs1000 mean?

The BRS 1000 Outsole is the Nike brand rubber constructed with a high content of carbon making it durable and able to provide additional traction for the wearer. The use of the BRS 1000 carbon rubber outsole is effective because the outsole will not wear out as quickly as it would if another type of rubber were used. The additional traction the rubber provides is important because the outsole is better able to grip the surface. Carbon rubber is, in general, a very common outsole material, however it is typically not used for court shoes as it will leave black marks on the surface of the hardwood or tile flooring.
