Choosen from 2,000 out of which 10 made it to prove their place as the new singer, Anette's vocals are a contrast to former lead singer Tarja Turunen's operatic vocals, which is what Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish leader) was looking for on the first place. Olzon released her first album with Nightwish titled Dark Passion Play. Olzon will be recording a song with the Finnish gothic rock band The Rasmus.
