Rurouni Kenshin is an amazing(In my opinion) manga that is about a rurouni (wanderer) named Himura Kenshin who was once a hitokiri (assassin) called Battosai who killed many to start the Meiji Era. Now he carries a reversed edge sword (sakabato) to prevent him from killing. He soon meets a young girl, Kamiya Kaoru who owns a dojo. Along the way he befriends people like Sagara Sanosuke and Myojin Yahiko. Kenshin encounters many foes from his past and the present and fights to protect the present.

Kenshin loved Tomoe when he was 15, but she's dead. At first Kenshin doesn't show any sign of affection to anyone, but he later shows and tells Kaoru he loves her. Hope this answers your question!
In the original anime series he doesn't show any sign of love to her...not sure about manga though...
NO! NEVER! Kenshin said he will never kill, but there are some points when he thought he did, and he almost turned back into the Battousai.
