Rosalie Hale is one of Carlisle and Esme Cullen's vampire "children" in the Twilight series.

Rosalie Hale was a beautiful girl and a few days before her wedding she walked home from her friends house and her fiancee was outside with a bunch of his friends and they were doing stuff to her and they left her on the street and well i wont tell you the rest that will ruin it.
She was almost dying. That's all true. and then carlisle found her there and took her to save her. then she became part of the family and became soul mates with Emmett Cullen.

She rescued Emmet later when he was being mangled by a bear.

thats right but edward and carlisle thinks that everyone has some sort of thing they bring into their second life. carlile his compassion rose her "pig-headednes, esme her loveing atitude, bella her sheild, edward his sensitivity to others thoughts, emmit his strength, felix his fighting skills etc. i hope you know what i mean.

Dismissing it, Rosalie later walked home and met an intoxicated Royce and his friends. Royce bragged about his fiancée's beauty, leading to her being beaten, raped, and left on the street to die. Carlisle, coming across her, decided to change her into a vampire. Three days later she killed those who had beaten her, including Royce, but did not drink their blood.
