Nagato in naruto is pein.Nagato became pein in the 2nd great ninja war.Jiraiya took him,yahiko,and konan as his students.Now nagato is the akatsuki member known as pein.Pein is not the lleader of the akatsuki though.

Chibi, (meaning Tiny in Japanese) was a dog that Nagato found while wandering around the village after his parents were killed. They wandered the country together in search of food until joining up with Yahiko and Konan. Chibi was later killed in the crossfire of Hanzo's battle with the Sannin. Nagato mourned his death.
