Well... He's kind, and loyal. He's an elf so he is cunning, and good with a bow. He can be a bit proud, but will humble himself and will follow someone if they are put in charge. He is also not prejudice against dwarves, but is fierce in battle. HE ROCKS!!! :)

In the book, he showed a great deal of cheerfulness though he was probably the least developed character of the Fellowship. .

Legolas is obviously an elf, and like all elves he's wise but at times merry. He obviously likes to sing, as you can tell from the first book of Lord of the Rings. But I think he's more than just that: Something deeper and mysterious. (Oh, and he's competitiive in the Two Towers, with Gimli) I'm a major Lord of the Rings fan, and Legolas is my favorite character. He is just pure awesome:) Hope I was helpful!

He seems to be wise since he is over a 1000 years old. He is responsible with carrying out orders from Aragorn or higher lords. He's really competitive especially with Gimli.
