"Hungry Like the Wolf" by Duran Duran
There has never been a Duran Duran song featured on Family Guy.The closest thing was Power Station's Some Like it Hot. It was heard in It's A Trap in which Duran Duran's bassist John Taylor & guitarist Any Taylor were members.
I don't know, but, it is a good song. "Dark in the city night is a wire Steam in the subway earth is afire Do do do do do do do dodo do do do do do Woman you want me give me a sign and catch my breathing even closer behind Do do do do do do do dodo do do do do do In touch with the ground I'm on the hunt I'm after you Smell like I sound I'm lost in a crowd. And I'm hungry like the wolf. Straddle the line in discord and rhyme I'm on the hunt I'm after you. Mouth is alive with juices like wine And I'm hungry like the wolf Stalked in the forest too close to hide I'll be upon you by the moonlight side Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo High blood Drumming on your skin it's so tight You feel my heat I'm just a moment behind Do do do do do do do dodo dododo dodo In touch with the ground I'm on the hunt I'm after you Scent and a sound. I'm lost and I'm found And I'm hungry like the wolf. Strut on a line it's discord and rhyme I howl and I whine I'm after you Mouth is alive all running inside And I'm hungry like the wolf. Hungry like the wolf Hungry like the wolf Hungry like the wolf Burning the ground I break from the crowd I'm on the hunt I'm after you I smell like I sound. I'm lost and I'm found And I'm hungry like the wolf Strut on a line it's discord and rhyme I'm on the hunt I'm after you Mouth is alive with juices like wine And I'm hungry like the wolf. From lyricsFreak.com __ The Story of Red Riding Hood was the main insperation. The band took the story and basically gave the Wolves perspective in the story and its hunt for blood (Riding Hood)
The band has always credited the songwriting to "Duran Duran", i.e., the entire band, ensuring that royalties are always split evenly. It does appear that their approach is very collaborative, with each member contributing to the composition for their own instrument. Usually the band composes the music first, with lyrics written afterwards. The majority of the lyrics, particularly in the early albums, are composed by singer Simon Le Bon, with keyboardist Nick Rhodes beginning to contribute lyrics starting with the 1997 album Medazzaland. The lyrics to a few songs have been written by bassist John Taylor or (former) guitarist Warren Cuccurullo.
In a brass band the instruments are brass (goldish) and in a silver the instruments are silver, but not always as people may not like silver instruments like ME !
