What do you think is tv spoling our youth?

I don't know about spoiling, but it sure lowers the IQ. If you don't practice using your brain it gets weak. And it's not helping the adults either.I disagree i dont think that tv does it, i think that the lack of stimulation for children makes them bored and find reckless things to do, however, to stereotype like that i think was wrong, if youths had more to, such as youth clubs they can go to and not be embarassed, i think moany people would be alot more satisfied, but then they'd probably complain that the children dont get enough fresh air, so to be honest you cant really win.

Why do many people believe in god?

OpinionA true born again Christian believes that Chritianity is the most accurate religion ever supported by the Bible, and if you give your life to Jesus Christ, you will have eternal life in heaven, so what have you got to lose.OpinionThere are as many reasons as there are people. Some people need to believe that someone or something is in charge and protecting them contrary to a world of evidence to the contrary. For those people, a benign religious belief system is helpful. It helps to fabricate answers to the unanswerable questions that have been with us from the beginning of time. A belief in gods also brings comfort to many people who feel they can impact an impossible situation through prayer. The people who own the one house left standing in a hurricane wrecked neighborhood are compelled to believe that God singled them out for protection.

Is a nave a part of a cathedral?

This is the part of the church where the people sit. It is called the 'nave' as the roof looks a little like an upturned boat - the latin for 'boat' being 'navis' from where we get the word 'navigate' and 'navy'.The NAVE is the main part of the interior of a church and people sit there. The roof looks like a boat turned upside down, and in latin boat is 'navis'!

How do giant pandas communicate with human beings?

Pandas are a favorite of people all over the world, mostly due to their babyish cuteness, and docile depiction of the peaceful bear reclining and eating bamboo. These large bears are hardly ever shown to be hunting, which adds to the innocent image. Though it is true that Pandas often assume a docile nature, they have also been known to attack humans. This is presumably out of frustration rather than any predatory hunting behavior. Research has shown that most cases of Panda violence have been linked to a maternal protection instinct. In cases where their offspring may be under treat, the panda can react very violently.

If you ever get saved you will be sure Jesus is the only way to heaven?

If you are 'saved' then you will accept that Jesus is the only way, dude God sent his SON to die for us! Us mere annoying moany humans that fill our lives with things that don't last forever, he sent his son so we could fill our life with something that lasts forever and that's him! It says in the bible that Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life the only way to the father is through me. I'd be thankful for anyone who died for me, but for God the most powerful being, sent his son for us is just incredible and I am forever thankful! God is one awesome man!!!____________________________________________________________Fantastic answer! you've got my vote. For who ever is hiding behind the negative answer, why don't you explore an Alpha course you don't have to be a Christian. It would give you a better understanding and perhaps help you to be less negative to other peoples beliefs. I think it is highly presumptive of you to to assume that your god (i.e. Jesus) is the only one who can save me or that I need saving in the first place. You can't even prove there is a God, much less that he (God) caused a virgin to get pregnant and produce a son. I however can prove that there is no entity (i.e. God) that can do everything. If God (or any entity) can do everything than let him make a rock that is too heavy for him to pick up. Romans 10:9and 10 says that all you have to do is to is to invite him into your heart by confession of the mouth and believe that Jesus died for your sins then you shall be saved

What do they eat in the UK?

British people eat some of the most diverse range of cuisines through the import of cusine via immigration from its former colnies and a Zeitgesit last ing from the early eighties that has widened the cuisine most Britons are lkely to eat as well as improving the standard of local dishes. The most popular dis is said to be Chicken Tikka Massala - A British reinvention of an indian dish. Traditonal English food inlcudes Roast Dinners ad Fish and Chips. Pasta, Pizza, Indian and Chinese (cantonese) food is eaten as much as any other dishes and would not be considered foreigh anymore. Traditional British cooking a few hundred years ago was widely admired, but it's rapid and increased industrialization meant less people were working on the land and the mass production of food led to a tendancy and acceptance of lower quality food. From its lowest point during the rationing of world war two the typical diet of British people consited meals typified by meat, vegetables and potatos with little use of hers and spices. On the postive side there were always well made examples of local regional cusines abd nationally the sweets, puddings and confections were always good. From the early eighties a Zeitgeist of a national obsession and celbrity chefs widen the cuisiens interantionally and improved local dishes. While is is still possible to get bad food in the UK it is now unnecessary. Breakfast: British people will eat either a cereal breakest as is comon place in moany countrys now and/or items such as toast and fruit conserves. If they are having a cookd breakfast this will be made of fried eggs, back bacon (far superior to the streaky and fatty belly bacon that seems to be the norm in the USA), link sausages served with beans/tomatoes and addtional extras such as mushrooms or black pudding - a blood sausage that is popluar in Scotland and the North of England. Lunch: With the exception of Sundays, the lunch of most Britons is lighter than the evening meal. Typically a salad or filled sandwiches, baguettes or bagels will be eaten with other items such as yoghurt, fruit and confections. Biscuits (cookies in USA) come in many varieties. A traditional Sunday lunch will consist of roast meet (tradtionally Beef or Lamb) with Yorkshire pudding, gravy and vegetables. Main/late meal: Supper/Dinner/Tea There is no consensus on the name of the later meal. If a larger meal has already been eaten at lunch time a lighter evening meal may be called tea as it is also commoonly served with the drink tea. The meal may be called tea by many working class people even if a main meal is served. If the meal is larger it is common for it to be called Dinner and, less so, Supper - supper sometimes instead being defined as a light snack close to going to bed.
