Just about every song The Beatles wrote or sang became a hit song, or at least in the top 10. Their music is what shaped the "Rock & Roll" music scene for generations of bands and people to come. There's been nothing like Beatlemania then and now!!!
The previous answer was completely wrong lol. Now, he didn't write "I'm Happy Just To Dance With You," John and Paul did, George just sang it. And My Sweet Lord is one of George's solo songs!
ANYWAYS. SONGS HE WROTE FOR THE BEATLES:
1. Here Comes The Sun
2. Something
3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
4. I Me Mine
5. Within You Without You
6. Taxman
7. If I Needed Someone
8. Think For Yourself
9. Don't Bother Me
10. Blue Jay Way
11. Love You To
12. Long, Long, Long

THERE ARE MORE. BUT. YOU GET THE POINT. :) Also he contributed lines for many songs, but he is not credited.
Peter and Gordon, Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas, and singers Cilla Black, PJ Proby and Tommy Quickly, among others. (There was an album titled The Songs the Beatles Gave Away, with an extensive listing.) Their manager Brian Epstein encouraged Lennon and McCartney to provide his later signings (the Beatles were his first) with potential hits; sometimes they believed in the songs they handed over, and sometimes they weren't sure if they were up to "Beatle standard". Some were hits, some were not.
Peter and Gordon's "Woman" was written by Paul McCartney under a pseudonym ("Bernard Webb"); McCartney was curious to see if a Lennon/McCartney song would be a hit without their name anywhere on it. (It was.) One song predicted as a hit, Tommy Quickly's recording of "Tip Of My Tongue", surprisingly wasn't, and Quickly left Epstein's management the next year.
Everybody and their DOG covered Beatles tunes in the 1960s... even Alvin and the Chipmunks. Harry Nilsson's cover of "You Can't Do That" got noticed by their publicist Derek Taylor, who sent copies of Nilsson's first RCA album to each of the Beatles. They ended up inviting him to England, and he became fast friends with Starr and Lennon.
"A World Without Love" for Peter and Gordon, "Bad to Me" for Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas,
"Hello Little Girl" for the Fourmost, to name three.

Paul wrote "Woman" for Peter and Gordon under the pseudonym, Bernard Webb. He also wrote "Come and Get It" for Badfinger and "Goodbye" for Mary Hopkin. Paul composed original songs for The Everly Brothers ("On the Wings of a Nightingale") and Peggy Lee ("Let's Love"). George Harrison wrote "Sour Milk Sea" for Jackie Lomax. John Lennon co-wrote "Mucho Mungo/Mt. Elga" with Harry Nilsson's Pussycats album (which John produced) and wrote "I'm the Greatest" and "Good Night Vienna" for Ringo as a solo artist.
Lennon-McCartney songs written for other artists include:
"I Wanna Be Your Man" (Rolling Stones, although the Beatles recorded it later)
"I'll Be On My Way", "I'll Keep You Satisfied", "Bad To Me" and "From a Window" (Billy J. Kramer)
"Tip of My Tongue" (Tommy Quickly)
"Hello Little Girl" and "I'm In Love" (The Fourmost)
"Love of the Loved", "It's For You" and "Step Inside Love" (Cilla Black)
"One and One is Two" (The Strangers)
"A World Without Love", "Nobody I Know" and "I Don't Want to See You Again" (Peter and Gordon)
"Like Dreamers Do" (The Applejacks)
"That Means a Lot" (P.J. Proby)
"Thingumybob" (Black Dyke Mills Band)
"Catcall" (The Chris Barber Band)
"Penina" (Jota Herre 1st and Carlos Mendes 2nd)
As with most Lennon-McCartney songs, one composer played a bigger part in writing these songs than the other. For example, "Bad To Me" was written by John, while "A World Without Love" was written by Paul.
Most of his songs he has written himself; however like most singers, he also does cover songs written by other people. His most famous song: "Achy Breaky Heart" was written by Don VonTress
Yes Mika writes all his own songs or covers other artists songs
YES SHE IS. (Don't believe if somebody tell you otherside) Before she became famous she would compose/write songs for other singers like: Britney Spears, Fergie, Pussycat Dolls, etc. But of course, she has some help from other composers like RedOne and Rob Fusari
The Beatles wrote most of there songs but at the beginnging of they're careers they did a lot of covers. no they did not, but they wrote most of them.
Here's a few....most of them he co-wrote: * Sixteen Candles by the Crests * Tonight's the Night by the Shirelles * Soldier Boy by the Shirelles Boys by the Shirelles AND the Beatles * I Don't Want to Cry by Chuck Jackson

If you work for them then you can write songs for them Note: singers will only sing your songs if they like it and pay you for it
the beatles
Pop/Rock
well i think it's just revolver and every other album after it
Yes, they wrote a lot of love songs
No, but Beatles John Lennon and Paul McCartney wrote "I Wanna Be Your Man" to answer Mick Jagger and Keith Richard's questions about how they came up with songs. They gave the Stones first crack at recording it as a single, and it became their first hit. (The Beatles' own version became an album track, sung by Ringo Starr.)
348 in total. I am a Beatles fan.
There are too many to write so click on 'related links' below that will take you to a wikipedia page where there is a list of the Beatles songs.
the Beatles drew inspiration from many things for the different songs. they did often write about their wives and girlfriends.
Singers have the right to write almost anything in thier songs, but they can't have any songs that are offensive to people.
Yes, but some of the songs they recorded were not original compositions, such as "Shout".
