Apparently, during the New Orleans Katrina house rebuild, Pinky was homesick, for whatever reason, and had to leave. Mike wished her all the best; said that she was great on the crew.
Being away from home, living out of a suitcase, especially if one has concerns at home, can get old VERY fast!

She could not stand the stress of being isolated from her family with the New Orleans show. She cracked and left the team.
She left the show during Holmes in New Orleans citing being home sick as her reasons for parting ways with Mike and the crew.
