What happened to naruto's mom?

Naruto's Mum - Kushina Uzumaki - Was the precious Jinchuuriki (holder) of the Kyuubi (Nine-tailed-Fox) So I don't exactly know how she died. But because I know other accounts of tailed beast Holders dying I'm going to guess that When Madara Uchiha Used the Nine-Tails to Destroy Konoha, like how the Akatsuki Extracted the Tailed beasts from the Jinchuuriki's. He must of killed her In the process of controlling the beast. Or Maybe As Naruto turns into the beast from time-to-time Maybe Using the Mangekyo Sharigan, he used a genjutsu to control her as the beast and Naruto's Dad - Minato Namikaze - Fourth Hokage Sealed her in Naruto with the beast and himself.
