Well, darlin', Elly May Clampett from "The Beverly Hillbillies" rocked some good ol' fashioned bare feet most of the time. When she did wear shoes, it was usually some simple, practical flats or boots to match her down-to-earth style. So, kick off them fancy heels and embrace your inner country gal!
very nice
She did indeed have a middle name, and no, it's not May. Elly May is technically just the first name. In one episode, she reveals her middle name to be Margaret. Elly May Margaret Clampett.

Rose Ellen. Pasted from Wikipedia http://www.answers.com/topic/jed-clampett. "Jed was born in the hills of the Ozarks, and had been married to Rose Ellen, the daughter of Daisy "Granny" Moses. From this union, their daughter, Elly May Clampett was born. Rose Ellen Clampett had died while Elly May was still very young, and Jed brought up his daughter like a boy simply because he was ill-equipped to raise a little girl. Jed also has a cousin, Pearl Bodine. To Pearl's children, Jethro Bodine and his sister, Jethrene, he is "Uncle Jed.""

Jed, Ellie Mae, Jethro, and Granny. Cousin Pearl was Jethro's mother. Jethro's last name was Bodine. I assume Pearl's was too. xxxxxxxxx The spelling was "Clampett." As I recall, the spelling of the young lady was Elly May Clampett. Granny's real name, which appears on a few of the shows, is Daisy Moses.
