I worked with Hoppy Adams for 10 years at WANN, 1190, Annapolis Maryland. He continued to be employed at the station through the 1980's. In the early 1990's, Hoppy had a reoccurrence of Polio Virus that he had suffered as a child. As Larry Blum, MD. and the son of owner of Radio Station WANN, Morris Blum, stated to me a few years ago, "it came back with a vengeance." Hoppy Adams died a few years ago in his home in Annapolis, Maryland and is buried in Washington, DC. Joseph L. Dorsey, DJ, WANN from 1959 to 1969.
