I think you mean Susan Hayward. Susan Hayward died of brain cancer March 14, 1975. It is now believed that she was exposed to radioactive toxins while filming "The Conqueror" (1956). Many involved in that film, John Wayne, Agnes Moorehead, John Hoyt, Hayward herself, and the film's director, Dick Powell, died of cancer. Pedro Armendariz killed himself after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. At least 91 of the 220 member's of the cast and crew contracted cancer. "The Conqueror" was filmed near nuclear testing grounds. After filming on location, 60 tons of radioactive soil was shipped back to Hollywood to be used in interior shots.
