Some people believe that he was shot by an arrow and that killed him (because of the arrow sticking out of his shoulder). Some people think he was shot with the arrow and then fell down and died of the freezing temperatures. Does this answer your question?

My answer: Since Otzi had a tatto on his back (right where the arrow head was found) someone could have been giving him that tatto so the arrow head could have got stuck in his back. It could of gotten infected and he could of died because of the infection. Does that help?
