they dumped her Jen is back part time on WXTK FM - 95.1 - Cape Cod. She hosts a Sunday call-in program at 11 a.m. and is often heard on the Ed Lambert morning show from six to ten, Monday through Friday. She was well liked by WRKO listeners, but WRKO is enamored of Michele McPhee (who was dumped a few years ago by WTTK). McPhee is a very experienced newspaper reporter who has worked in New York and Boston: but has little radio experience and owns a high pitched voice that some people may liken to Minnie Mouse. WRKO plans to use McPhee on her own show, and she will be the fill-in host for Howie Carr on his many vacation days. Carr hopes to leave the station by Fall, and McPhee is apparently seen by WRKO as his successor. GOOD NEWS..... MINNIE MCPHEE HAS FINALLY BEEN DUMPED BY WRKO AND JEN BRIEN HAS BEEN GIVEN THE FABLED OVERNIGHT SLOT ON WBZ, FORMERLY HELD DOWN BY Stalwarts like Larry Glick, Dick Summer and Norm Nathan. GO GO JEN.
