What happened to Mairead Nesbitt's former husband?

I don't think she was married at all, but none of her fans don't really know anything about her personal life. If she was married once then he must've broken up with or walked out on her because he probably couldn't cope with a tight schedule and her many musical projects she does with Celtic Woman (Mairead is the violinist).

I read an interview and she was not married. She had a fiance named Andy and I believe they were engaged for a while. But sometime in possibly 2008 she was said to be single.
