Disagreement about a paint job. OCC basically fired him. Later, Justin sued OCC for using his likeness and images without permission. He did relay his version of things on a forum, basically he had a hard time getting paid for his work. OCC thought by letting him on TV they didn't need to pay him or always want deep discounts. I read the letter he wrote and it didn't seem like he missed dealing with OCC at all.

Justin did post background on what happened, just like the answer above. I believe he also stated that at the time he was taken off the job his mother was suffering from cancer and OCC wanted him to work these insane hours for little or no pay, and had little understanding about his mother. Also the girl he hired try to go behind his back (she appeared on the show) and get hired by OCC and then they could dump Justin and she would be the painter and on TV. It turned out he got booted, she completed the project (on TV) but they never hired her, she went back to Justin for her job back and he told her to take a hike.
