"It was the time he and Jill Somerstein were co hosting a show. Jim went off track as usual and asked Jill if she ever planned to get married, settle down and have some kids. The broadcast went dead for a few seconds, and when it came back on, Jill looked like she was close to tears. Skelton realized he'd crossed a line and apologized on air, but the damage was done and it was obviously permenant. The ShopNBC call center was swamped w/ angry calls. Retractions and disclaimers were quietly made."
They hired Tim Temple back just before his ouster and it appears that they were no longer happy with his antics. He can now be seen on WOW or worldofwatches.com
