In 1880, a census was conducted in Paxton, Ford Illinois. Freddie Stuart was 8 and was born 1872. And Catherine was his mom born in Ireland. So even though this little girl was 8 when she claims she sees Freddie, I'm not sure if she does but he existed

To my understanding his mother drowned him in water. I have heard this story been told by many of my passed family members who told the story as the year had gone by. My father, his father and grandfather as I am are nephew and niece of the poor boy who's mother took his life. It's so terrible what ha happened.
