Christopher Craig served 10 years in prison and was released in 1963. he was a law abiding citizen ever since. Also he got married, was a plumber (or farmer I have heard both of these but have no clue which is true).

William and Lillian Bentley Continued to to try and clear Derek's name until their deaths in the 1970's and Iris Bentley continued to clear his name but sadly passed away before his name was completely cleared. but in 1998 Derek's name was cleared and it was admitted that he should not have been hanged.
