Well to begin lets start with Yoda. Remember when Yoda died in episode 6 he was 800 years old now lets go back in time before episode 1. There used to be many Siths and the universe was divided into 2 sides.

Then the Great Hyperspace War, The fall of the Sith Empire, the Great Sith War, Mandalorian Wars, Sith Civil War, birth of the new Sith, battle of Ruusan, birth of Yoda, birth of Jabba, the Trade Federation was formed, Chewbacca was born, years later Anakin was born, and all eventually led up to the Battle of Naboo.
