She was originally a member of the group Mis-Teeq which was formed in 1999.
They released three major studio albums and seven consecutive UK top ten singles, including international hits such as "All I Want", "One Night Stand" and "B With Me."
Following the release of their self-titled U.S. album and the single "Scandalous" in 2004, the band's record label Telstar Records went bankrupt. In January 2005 Mis-Teeq eventually announced their disbandment.
Alesha released her first solo album in 2006, however the albums UK release was cancelled due to the poor reception of the first two singles "Lipstick" and "Knock Down" which charted at number 14 and number 45 respectively. She was dropped from Polydor toward the end of 2006.
After her success on winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2007 she signed a four-album contract with Asylum Records in 2008. Dixon's first new album as part of her contract, The Alesha Show was released in the UK on 24 November 2008 and 21 November in Ireland. 1st two singles released were "The Boy Does Nothing" and Breathe Slow" both found their way to the Top 10 in the UK. The 3rd "Let's Get Excited" also did well in the Top 40. "To Love Again" was released on November 15, 2009.

Who is the leader of fifth harmony?
Lauren should the leader, if there was one but all of the girls are the leaders. The reason i would say Lauren is because her dancing and singing skills would be high on the list if we ranked them. Were as Normani would be number 1 in dancing but her vocals are not as good as the other girls and Ally is maybe number 1 or 2 in vocals but is the weakest dancer in the group.....most people would say Camila is the leader but no she isn't but she is the most known member, (especially after Taylor Swift threw her that birthday party) and Dinah would be in the middle of them all because her vocals and dancing skills are average within group statistics so yes if Fifth Harmony had to choose a leader the smartest potion would be Lauren because she is like number 1 in vocals and number 2 in dancing. (p.s my favorite is Normani but I had to be honest and not choose favorites.)
