Don't eat too much dairy, as it builds mucus in the throat and makes it harder to breathe. NO MEXICAN FOOD! But, what you could do is eat peanut butter or honey, about a tablespoon. Also, if you have a sore throat do not have cough sweets, as they just mask the pain and don't help to cure it, so you don't know how far you can push your voice.

To project nicely sounding voice, drink approximatly 10mL of lemon squeeze each hour until the moment when you have to sing. Passionfruit pulp is also been proven to create less tension in the larynx, so try that too.

Well to drink you want water and a tea called singers tea that is Ginger root cut and sliced with a quartered lemon and a teaspoon of honey if desired. It's also good to gurgle water with cayenne pepper in it to clear all mucus from the vocal chords. To eat you want fresh fruits and veggies salmon and grains but you want to stay away from most citrus with an exeption of lemons and dairy products and fatty foods and sweets

No food is particuarly good or bad for your voice as a general statement. However there are foods you should avoid in the last 2 to 3 hours before a performance or rehearsal, including any food containing high amounts of dairy and sugar (or high fructose corn syrup). The reason for this is that these foods cause your body to create mucus in the sinuses, which drip down your throught onto your vocal chords. High amounts of caffiene should also be avoided because it can dehydrate you. And singing while dehydrated can cause damage to your vocal chords.

There are no specific foods that will improve or are good for your singing voice, however if you have been sick recently or your voice is cracking drinking tea and gurgling salt water will help immensely!

Fruits are always good to eat like bananas or apples stuff like that and they also keep you healthy. So just eat healthy but sometimes you can eat like steak but just keep on a diet
