The Quintet vocal group did not solely consist of just one lead vocalist. Early on in the group's career, everyone had a lead part (depending on the circumstances of the genre of songs). Most people would be too quick to point out Justin Timberlake as the lead vocalist, when the fact is, this simply is not true. True devote N'sync fans know that JC Chasez was the real musical prodigy behind the group, in terms of writing/producing the groups music and lending his four-octave vocals to the group (making the band stand out from the casual misconceptions that "boybands" lacked vocal diversity individually). With the promise of Chasez's powerful vocals and the charisma/age of Timberlake, it shouldn't be a surprise to fans why the record labels pushed these two more often than the others once they signed for a record deal. In terms of how the direction of the music business has gone (not for the better), selling an image/age has a lot to do with one's success Mr. Timberlake may be more known because of his age and for dating Britney Spears, but giving credit to him solely for the success of N'sync is simply not deserving.

Aaliyah was / is important because she was one of the first female singers to actually introduce what some call "Hip - Hop & B." When she first came out in 1994, she was a protege'e of music crooner R Kelly and with his help as a mentor she went into the studio and introduced her first album to the world (Age Ain't Nothing But A Number).She was instantly accepted by music critics and heavy hitters in the game alike and critics praised Aaliyah for having a sweet, sultry voice and mature lyrics (considering the fact she was only 15 at the time of her debut album's release and the majority of her album, if not all was written by R Kelly himself).Her style was dubbed "street but sweet" and you can see a lot of her style; The baggy clothes, with a hint of femininity in female artists today such as: Ciara, Cassie and even Rihanna.Her music was always 2 steps ahead of what other female artists, or singers in generals were for that era. But here are some tips on how to copycat makeup like a hot female vocalist.Glam it like GwenFrom Gwen Stefani's biggest hits, 'Just A Girl' from the No Doubt days and 'Hollaback Girl,' to her own L.A.M.B. clothing line, the platinum blonde beauty has become legendary in her own rite. And her makeup is a huge part of her trademark: fire engine red lips and black eye liner. To steal her look:Start with a clean canvass- even out that skin tone with medium to full coverage foundation and set with a translucent powder.On the highest part of your cheekbones, sweep a matte pale apricot or pale pink blush.Apply a matte beige eye shadow all over your eyelids (the shadow color should be close to your skin tone actually). Then, sweep a champagne shade of shadow on the ball of your lids as well as the inner corners of the eyes- this shadow should ideally have a hint of shimmer in it. Next, apply band false lashes to pump up the wow factor to your eyes. Then line the upper lash line with black liquid liner and slightly flick it out at the outer edge of the eye.
