After he was sacked by the band, and was replaced by Paul Young who transformed us into Sad Cafe, Dave moved to Bristol where he worked as an actor. In the summer of '79 I went to visit him.
By then I, too, had left the band and was living "just down the road" in Somerset. I always felt that Dave had been treated shabbily when he was ditched in the name of ambition, and I went to seek absolution for my part in this injustice.
As one might expect, of a fine human being with higher aspirations than the world of Pop Music, he left me knowing he would not look back on his brush with the " biz" with either regret or bitterness.
Dave's Swiss girlfriend, Heidi, had been trained in Cinematography and she was obviously a strong influence on their decision to move to Switzerland where Dave planned to finish his novel, the theme of which he would not disclose!
Wherever Dave may now be I hope, and assume, that he is leading a rich and rewarding life.
Om Mani Padme Hum, Dave.

The Urban Dictionary lists "Skumps" as meaning "a word used to cheer or toast something; an exclamation; a cheer during a toast", and gives as its exampe the word's usage in Sleeping Beauty: "Skumps!Skumps!A toast to the home..." (There doesn't seem to be any other reference to the word 'skumps', in the dictionary or anywhere else on the internet, and I've never heard the word before, so I would be interested to know where the Disney filmmakers got it from...)
Of course not since you could literally be anywhere in the world that has Internet access so no, I'm afraid it would be impossible for me to show you an episode from Family Guy Season 7.
