To me it's usually refers "to as" you're a below height average person. Which is simpler words you short, or shorted then you should be at your age group. Or maybe the 7th graders came up to you and picked on you because you were younger or shorter than them. This is just my point of view. And yes I am a kid who is typing this but I have had experience. And I am NOT trying to sound smart, or like a smart aleck. Plus it sound like you're a kid asking this question....lol.
