What don't let your imagination run wild is saying is that when you are given a task or a duty to fulfill, don't come up with a whole bunch of extra ideas to deal with. Just focus on the main points and don't doeze off adding in things that aren't neccessary. Otherwise, don't let your thoughts lead you to something unreasonable.

its really another way of saying think as all others think don't let your own personal ideas get in the way of finishing some that belongs to someone else if need be get that task done but on your spare time improve that which you already know even when someone says this wright down everything that comes to mind and when you are alone try and find the outcome in all honesty the only restrictions we have are those we appose on ourselves that and well try to stay within the law cause that's kinda how mad scientists are made. :D
