Captain Rex is a relatively new character to the franchise, but as he makes no appearance in Star Wars: Episode III or post-Order 66, it is difficult to say what his ultimate outcome was. The creators of "The Clone Wars" TV show could intend to kill him off, but for all we know he's one of the 501st clones marching on the Jedi Temple in the 3rd movie.
Now, Commander Cody is something of a conundrum. In the Episode III videogame, the player kills him in a boss battle where he summons multiple clones to assist him, though this is probably uncanon, as in a book and in the Force Unleashed II game it is said he was stationed on Timara City. If this is the case he was surely killed off in the Rebel assault on the garrison.
Commander Cody did not die.
Rex retired The 501st over to Commander Appo and there is no record of Rex after that, Rex was long gone before order 66 occurred.
The Commander Cody band has had many members in the past but is currently comprised of five members. These members are George Frayne, Steve Barbuto, Mark Emerick, Randy Bramwell, and Greg Irwin.
Cody dies by age because by the time luke is born ankin is old so the clones were older and they don't have as long as a life as a jedi/sith
not on normal maps but maybe on some mods
