In Florida, a person can be Baker Acted multiple times, but each involuntary examination must be justified by the circumstances at the time. The law does not impose a strict limit on the number of times an individual can be Baker Acted; however, each case must meet the criteria of posing a danger to themselves or others or being unable to provide for their own basic needs due to mental illness.
