Katniss eats different things in The Hunger Games. She eats fish, groosling(like a wild turkey, but once plucked the size of a chicken), roots, nuts, berries, rabbit, lamb stew with dried plums, rolls, bread from district 11, mint leaves, and fancy capital food.

∙ 12y agoIt really depends on the district. District 12 (Katniss's home) eats whatever they can get their hands on. But Some districts specialize in food. District 4 (Finnick) bases their food off of sea food, that is why Finnick uses a trident. District 8 (Rue) is agriculture, so the crop lands. Mentioned above, it depends on the district.

∙ 11y agoKatniss mainly ate food that she hunted for in the woods. This includes meat and edible plants, roots, and berries. By selling the game she caught, she could buy other foods to eat. Prim had a goat that provided milk and cheese. Katniss also received grain to eat for signing up for the Hunger Games.
