What do children like?

Cartoons depending on how old they are. If they are young they might like movies such as Cars, The Wild, The Penguins of Madagascar, Flushed Away. If they are older they might like Charlottes Web, Narnia, or any other movies that are filmed real. (not cartoons)

Children like anything that is hand held and/or electric they also like thing that are visual they like doing things for themselves apart from extremely dangerous, although you may find that some of them would like to do that but don't ever allow it.

Try books with simple vocabulary, books that rhyme, and books with lots of picture. Don't forget if your reading the book to read it with expression and very slowly.
