What did Severus snape do for Harry Potter?

Severus Snape attempted to get Harry Potter expelled from Hogwarts on several occasions. Snape wanted to punish Harry for James' actions towards Snape. Throughout the years, Snape bullied, embarrassed and punished Harry.

Yet, Snape also works with Dumbledore to protect Harry's life because he wanted to protect the son of Lily Potter.

Severus Snape loved Lily Evans since they were both young children. However, Lily didn't like death eaters and fell in love with James Potter. Snape overheard the prophecy, told Lord Voldemort and then discovered that Voldemort planned to kill Lily, James and Harry Potter. Snape went straight to Albus Dumbledore and told him who Voldemort planned to kill and requested that Dumbledore protect Lily (and eventually her family). Dumbledore said he would do so if Snape joined the Order of the Phoneix as a spy. When Lily and James were killed Dumbledore made Snape promise to look after Harry.

In Harry's first year Snape kept Harry on his broomstick when Quirrel was trying to knock him off. Snape has protected Harry, even though he hated him, throughout his years at Hogwarts.

Even during the search for the horcruxes Snape helped. After discovering their location he gave them the real Sword of Gryffindor and he gave Harry his memories as he was dying which informed Harry that he needed to die (or at least be hit by the killing curse) before Voldemort could.
