After the battle Neville, Ron and Harry were recruited to join Shacklebolt's progressive government as Aurors to clean up the department and finish the job of ending Death Eater power once and for all. After that he became a beloved Herbology professor at Hogwarts.He married Hannah Abbott, Hufflepuff and the landlady of the Leaky Cauldron. Neville still has his charmed coin from his Dumbledore's Army days.

∙ 14y agoRon got his wish to be an Auror when he was recruited by Minister Shacklebolt to work with Harry to reform the Ministry and seek out the remaining Death Eaters (Today1, PC/JKR1). He also helped George run Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (BLC). The timing on this is uncertain; it is most probable that Ron assisted George later in life, rather than earlier, when his job as an Auror would have kept him extremely busy.
