In the 1968 movie "Romeo and Juliet", the part of Mercutio was played by John McEnery, who was fairly tall and thin.
Hiya, my name is Chloe. I am 12. So I think that Twilight is a modern Romeo and Juliet. That's why they hinted, by using Romeo and Juliet as one of the topics they were learning in New Moon. I myself are totally Team Jacob. You? I really like it.But modern Romeo and Juliet is a perfect way to sum up Twilight.

well mercutio did have a was pretty aggressive he didn't like the Capulet's at all he would fight for the Montague's. mercutio was a troublemaker but always protected romeo i think he thought romeo was too young for those type of things
There is no court fool character in Romeo and Juliet. The play features characters like Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio, and Friar Laurence, but the role of a court fool is not present in this Shakespearean tragedy.
Neither. He is related to the Prince. That is why he was invited to the Capulets' party. However, he hangs around with Romeo and Benvolio and the other Montagues and really doesn't like Tybalt much.
Depends, in the movie Romeo sees Juliet next to the nurse, her fiance and her mother. Like this, right away he figured out she was a Capulet. In the book, Romeo is told by the nurse that Juliet belongs to the Capulet Family.
LOVE : Juliet and Romeo share a romantic type of love. Juliet and the Nurse share a mother-daughter sort of relationship. Juliet confides in the Nurse and the Nurse has practically raised Juliet. Romeo and his friends, Benvolio and Mercutio, love each other. It's evident right at the begining of the play when Romeo is feeling down about a girl Rosaline that doesn't return his love. They encourage him to go to the Capulet party in order to meet more women and forget about Rosaline because they don't like seeing him so heartbroken. Love is also observed between Juliet and her cousin, Tybalt. He is very upset when he discovers that Juliet has fallen in love with a Montague, long-time enemy to the Capulets. He would not want her to get involved with someone whom their family is not fond. FRIENDSHIP : Juliet confides in the Nurse. She feels like she can tell her about loving Romeo, a Montague and an enemy in Juliet's family's eyes. Romeo and his friend Mercutio share a very strong bond as well. Mercutio is always there for Romeo when he is feeling down or is in trouble. When Tybalt (Juliet's cousin) challenged Romeo to a dual, Romeo refused to fight him. But Mercutio fought on his behalf because he was enraged that someone wanted to hurt his friend.
Romeo in Act 2 Scene 2 is planning to sneak into Juliet's backyard and tell her how much he loves her. He doesn't want a foulmouthed joker like Mercutio hanging around--he'd just spoil the mood.
Mercutio and Tybalt are both key characters in 'Romeo and Juliet' and they both are killed in Act 3, Scene 1 of the play. At the beginning of the scene, Tybalt insults Romeo in an attempt to provoke a fight but Romeo responds calmly and it is Mercutio who then fights with Tybalt. Romeo tries to stop the fight and in the confusion, Mercutio is fatally stabbed by Tybalt and shortly dies. Fuelled with rage after his friend's death, Romeo then seeks Tybalt in order to kill him. They fight, resulting in Tybalt's death.
You could ask Tybalt these questions: How did you recognize Romeo through his disguise? Were you sorry when Mercutio died?
NO! Paris is the male that Juliet's father, Sir Capulet, wanted Juliet to marry. Paris was very fond of Juliet; however, Juliet did not like Paris.
