If you want to become a singer, you must take some common required courses in musical education.
Assuming you have a voice. Practical and theoretical, vocal and stage craft. Plus serving your time in small parts in small companies and productions. All suiting your vocal range / voice type. [Then a fair bit of luck].
Although a college degree will greatly assist a person in making singing their career, it isn't absolutely necessary. Much of the same techniques taught in a college course can also be achieve through private voice lessons. Then all it takes is determination and practice, practice, practice.

you need to get a degree in music first,then transfer to another school to get your bachelors degree in music,because if you are going to school to become a singer i am far too sure that you are attending a let down ,two year,community college.you will need to talk classes like sociology psychology western civ I and II and then you will need to take a body painting classes and do yoga exercises until you earn that singing degree......good luck with that
