Why was the Discovery Wings Channel replaced with the Military Channel?
In January of 2005, the Military Channel probably replaced the Discovery Wings Channel because not a whole lot of people were watching the shows about building airplanes and recreational events like AirVenture (which i believe is the coolest thing that ever happened). I used to watch that channel Every Day when i was a child. I guess there are more supporters of the military than aviation in general (nothing wrong with that). I still watch it only when there's a show about planes or WW2 airbattles.
Why is the programming on the military channel Nazi?
The majority of the shows on the Military History Channel are about World War 2 and the Nazis because the young Americans need to learn about the Nazis and World War 2 so they will learn to never allow a ego maniacal leader come to power or commit genocide against any nation in the world. They need to REMEMBER and honor the Jews who were murdered. Another reason is that many new films are being made as of now but they have not finished production to be shown on MHC. Be patient many more shows will be on that channel. Try watching the Military Channel that is not the military history channel. You can issue a complaint about the programming and broadcasting on their web site.
