Ricardo Arjona was born in Antigua, Guatemala on January 28, 1964. It is said to be the most colonial city in Guatemala. Tourists visit Antigua for its natural beauty and historical monuments. This time he came more prepared with material more suited to his experience. His song was named "Jesus Verbo No Sustantivo," a song about when he was a child at a Catholic School. With this song he was gained a contract with Sony. Sony released some of his most popular albums, including Adentro. Adentro was released in 2005 and was nominated for a 2006 Grammy in the Latin Pop Album category.
